イベント詳細 The CTO Club in 2021 was held online because of impact of COVID-19. Now, a half a year later, the number of COVID-19 cases of the Omicron variant are increasing worldwide. In Japan, the COVID-19 cases had been kept as a small number within last year, but the number of cases per a day has been on the increase as we welcomed the new year. In the circumstances, we cannot predict the situation in future and the 22nd CTO Club from June 17 to 18, 2022 will be held online as a virtual meeting.

Even under this COVID-19 pandemic, variety of innovative techniques and improvement of devices have been progressed here in Japan. The success rate of CTO-PCI is already over 90 %, but we have not achieved the 100% success rate because of lesion characteristics which prevent successful treatments, such as heavily calcified lesions, bent lesions and widely occluded lesions.

We are planning to introduce how effective new techniques and devices against these lesions at Live Case Transmissions and share them with all over the world in the CTO Club this time. We believe that sharing the information regarding CTO-PCI will help successful patient treatment around the globe, and whatever the meeting format, we expect the CTO Club to be a source of the information.

Last but not least, we are looking forward to seeing you at the 22nd CTO Club in 2022.
